Transporting sporting or hunting weapons, military weapons and their spare parts, or ammunition is permitted only if the passenger has the appropriate documents for the right to carry weapons and a travel document (mandate). Weapons will only be accepted for carriage after prior approval by the airline. For approval, you can send a request via the feedback form or call the Red Wings Contact Centre.
We recommend that you come to the airport no later than two hours before departure. The fee for weapons transportation depends on the fare on your ticket. If necessary, payment must be made at the airport.
If payment is due more than 3 hours before departure:
