Opening of direct flights from Yekaterinburg to Ulyanovsk

In May, Red Wings will launch flights on the Yekaterinburg-Ulyanovsk-Yekaterinburg itinerary. The flights will be unique and available only to Red Wings passengers. There have been no direct flights between these cities for the last seven years.

The flights will be operated twice a week - on Mondays and Thursdays. The flight will depart from Yekaterinburg on Mondays at 10:15 and the return flight will depart at 12:15. The flight from Yekaterinburg on Thursdays will depart at 19:40; the return flight will depart at 21:40. The flight time will be two hours.

Ulyanovsk will become the eleventh destination in the Red Wings itinerary network from Koltsovo airport. Flights from Yekaterinburg to Barnaul, Belgorod, Izhevsk, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Novokuznetsk, Omsk, Saratov, Ufa and Khanty-Mansiysk have been launched earlier. Flights from Yekaterinburg are operated using new Russian SSJ100 aircraft.

Red Wings Airlines specializes in scheduled and charter passenger transport, the fleet consists of 18 aircraft: 14 Airbus 320/321 and four Russian short-range SSJ100s. Base airports are Domodedovo, Koltsovo (Yekaterinburg) and Pulkovo (St. Petersburg).
