The Red Wings airline company has opened sales on direct flights from Chelyabinsk to Gelendzhik, Makhachkala, Murmansk and Norilsk. The flights will be operated using the newest Russian aircraft SSJ100 having a capacity of 100 seats.

The flights to Chelyabinsk-Gelendzhik-Chelyabinsk will start on May 1 and will be operated once a week on Saturdays.

On the Chelyabinsk-Makhachkala-Chelyabinsk itinerary, flights will begin on May 2 and will be operated twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays.

On the Chelyabinsk-Murmansk-Chelyabinsk itinerary, flights will also start on May 2 and will be operated twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays.

On the Chelyabinsk-Norilsk-Chelyabinsk itinerary, flights will start on May 7 and will be operated once a week on Fridays.

All these destinations are unique and will be available only to Red Wings passengers. Direct flights are the most comfortable for travelling and, in comparison with transit flights, save passengers many hours of travel time. The regional flights are subsidized by the Rosaviation and the Government of the Chelyabinsk Region, which makes the fares more affordable.

Starting in June, Red Wings will link Chelyabinsk with direct flights to the Russian Black Sea resorts of Sochi and Simferopol.

Red Wings Airlines specializes in scheduled and charter passenger transport, the fleet consists of 18 aircraft: 14 Airbus 320/321 and four Russian short-range SSJ100s. Base airports are Domodedovo, Koltsovo (Yekaterinburg) and Pulkovo (St. Petersburg).
