Red Wings Airlines won today a Sky Service Award prize in The Best Russian Aircraft Operator nomination. The prize was handed at NAIS-2022 show.

The airline has been operating Russia manufactured planes for 20 of its 22-year history. Firstly Tu-154 and Tu-204 types, then SSJ100.

September 2020 Red Wings started its extensive project for connecting regional cities by SSJ100 flights directly, without Moscow transfers. In less than a year and a half Red Wings managed to take delivery of 15 SSJ100, to base them in five non-capital cities (Ekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Sankt Petersburg, Perm and Omsk) and to launch over 50 regional routes, most of which are exclusive.

Sky Service Award — is one of the most authoritative prizes in Russia, awarded annually on the Russian Civil Aviation Day, that is on February 9, at the National Aviation Infrastructure Show (NAIS).
