Last Friday and Sunday, the Boeing 777-200 with a capacity of 412 seats performed its first passenger flights: 809 passengers were carried to Zhukovsky Airport from Samarkand by two charter flights, the average load of two flights was 98%.

Air traffic between Russia and Uzbekistan is now open with restrictions: regular flights are only allowed between Moscow and Tashkent. Charter flights are operated between other cities in both countries, for which only certain categories of passengers are allowed.

Red Wings now has two long-range Boeing 777-200 aircraft in its fleet, which were received respectively in January and April this year. The first aircraft operated cargo flights from Macau to Zhukovsky during the low season. It is now completing the reconfiguration of the passenger cabin, which will result in an increase in capacity from 370 to 412 seats. It will also start passenger operations in May.

Red Wings expects the arrival of the third Boeing 777-200 in late May; its capacity will be 412 seats. The core of the Red Wings fleet consists of 14 medium-range aircraft of the Airbus 320/321 family and seven Russian regional SSJ100s.
