— Emergence of a Omsk-based operator enables us to raise the number of local routes from Omsk. Twelve local Russian routes from Omsk are scheduled to be launched in 2022. Flights to Central Asia countries are being considered as well – to Baku, Bishkek, Tashkent and Nursultan. Based airline can better the Omsk region connectivity, so creating for Omsk a more agreeable business climate. By widening Omsk route network we are raising competitiveness of our region. It delivers new jobs, traffic growth and higher income for JSC Omsk Airport, and also additional kerosene sales which as well comes to the good of Omsk business. And forthwith we are easing economical and, most urgently, social matter, that is: improving connectivity for regions and cities of the state. Air travel for locals will get nicer and lighter, long-awaited new connections will emerge, and so locals no more have to climb train and ride to other cities, as was the case earlier, just in order to fly international. Starting next year as we hope air travel grows more comfortable for our citizens, — Mr. Burkov said upon the signing ceremony.
— Red Wings has just over a year ago started a Russian-wide grand project for developing direct air network between Russian cities. And today we happy to enter Siberia, to announce opening of our base in Omsk airport. And it’s truly a joint enterprise by Omsk region and Red Wings: Omsk government subsidies help us draw federal subsidies and as a result fix fares at more affordable level, create new opportunities for travel. January 2022 we are launching flights from our Omsk base, at the same time our Omsk branch is starting to function, which will encompass jobs for a share of our cabin crews and flight crews, and so we become a tax resident of Omsk region, — Mr. Klyucharev said.

New direct flights will serve as a nice bonus for coming ice hockey World Junior Championship (2022-2023).
