05 August 2021 Red Wings passenger traffic reaches its maximum peak of 500,000 people per month

In July, the Airline carried 501,600 passengers, which is a 28% increase in comparison with July 2019. Red Wings passenger traffic exceeded half a million people per month for the first time.

Two new projects of the airline boosted a significant growth: the development of direct scheduled flights bypassing Moscow and the operation of the wide-bodied fleet.

In July, Red Wings scheduled flights (not from Moscow and Saint Petersburg) carried 128,000 people. Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk airports hosted the first regional offices of the airlines which operate modern Russian regional liners SSJ100 to more than 30 destinations. Most destinations are unique and accessible only to Red Wings passengers.

In July, 45,900 passengers flew on two wide-bodied Boeing 777. These liners operate international cargo and passenger flights under the permission issued by the Russian Aviation and the RF Government Emergency Center for Coronavirus Delimitation.

Red Wings Airline is among TOP-10 largest Russian airlines specialized in scheduled and charter passenger transport. The fleet of the airline consists of 24 passenger liners: 15 Airbus 320/321, seven Russian short-range SSJ100s and two long-range Boeing 777.
